Did you miss me?

You may or may not have noticed that I haven't exactly been on top blogging form of late.  For those very few of you who have taken the time to follow me (you lovely, lovely people x), I thought I'd better check in and let you know that I am still alive and give a little explanation...

Too Much Television

So I'm sorry I haven't been on top blogging form lately.  My head's in a weird place right now but I'm hoping normal service will resume shortly.

In the meantime, I thought I would just show you a couple of photographs I snapped today.  I was Christmas shopping with a friend of mine at London's Shepherds Bush, when we stumbled across some of the strangest gift ideas I have ever seen.

A woman was waiting at an airport one night, 
With several long hours before her flight. 
She hunted for a book in the airport shops, 
Bought a bag of cookies and found a place to drop.

Bah Humbug!

As the weather gets colder, the sun sets earlier and the annual cold and flu epidemic grabs hold of the nation, our thoughts turn to that joyous time of year when people come together, eat themselves into a coma and spend too much money on items that will never be taken out of the box.  

Anyone who knows me knows I don't "do" Christmas.  It's not that I hate it, I just don't enjoy it as much as everyone else seems to.  To me, it's just a lot of fuss and expense for a holiday that has lost its true meaning, and if that makes me Little Miss Scrooge, so be it.
